Roanoke Rapids, N.C. — On Sunday, July 17, Betsy Kern was traveling north on Interstate 95 through Roanoke Rapids when the electronic sliding door on her camper accidentally opened near mile marker 173, and her orange tabby cat, Tucker, escaped. Kern has been searching the area and posting fliers, but so far, Tucker has not turned up. PETA and Kern are jointly offering up to $1,000 for information leading to Tucker's safe return. Tucker is an orange-striped male cat who has been neutered; his mouth, nose, paws, chest, and stomach are white. He is microchipped and was last seen wearing a red breakaway collar.

Will you please consider sharing this information with your audience? It may be the only way to find the missing cat.

"Betsy loves and misses Tucker and is desperate to have him home, safe and sound," says PETA Director Martin Mersereau. "We hope that anyone who has seen Tucker will come forward and help make it possible for him to be reunited with his family."

Anyone with information about Tucker's whereabouts is encouraged to call 1-800-566-9768.
