The Race Is On—Winners in PETA National Contest Will Head to Maui

New Stanton, Pa. — The competition to be named PETA's Sexiest Vegetarian Next Door is heating up, and 26-year-old New Stanton resident Andy Sajnani
may just take home the grand prize. He's beaten out hundreds of other entrants from across the U.S. to become one of 10 male contestants to advance to the final round in PETA's contest. Two winners (one female and one male) will be crowned PETA's Sexiest Vegetarians, and each will win a free trip to Maui.
"On average, vegetarians are slimmer and healthier than meat-eaters are—and they save more than 100 animals a year from factory farms, slaughterhouses, and fishing nets," says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. "One look at our radiant finalists proves that there's nothing sexier than compassion."
Sajnani went vegetarian 16 years ago after his dog was hit by a car and killed and he realized the value that each life holds. He credits his vegetarian diet with helping him drop unwanted pounds and gain muscle mass; he also says that he's more alert and has a lot more stamina. The holder of a professional bartender's certificate and currently working on becoming a certified personal trainer, Sajnani enjoys martial arts, learning about other cultures, and sharing his home with his dog, Bambi, and beta fish, Tito. His turn-ons include honesty and people with a good sense of humor.
