Columbus, Ohio -- Here is an update on PETA's "Turkey Terrorism" TV spot, which PETA is running in Columbus in response to Cargill's recent recall of 36 million pounds of turkey flesh. Dozens of people across the country have been sickened, including at least 10 in Ohio. PETA is pleased to confirm that the TV spot aired today on WWHO-TV, Columbus' CW affiliate—once during Divorce Court and again during Judge Karen. The spot will run twice daily during the same programs through August 19. By running the spot during these daytime shows, we hope to influence stay-at-home parents who do the grocery shopping to choose humane and healthy vegan food for their families.
